Streets described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time.

Road, Fairbanks, Alaska 98701.
This project will consist of grading, drainage, paving, utilities and sidewalk
on 0.9B miles of Nome City Streets.
The Engineer's Estimate Is between »2,600,000 and »6,000,000.
Principal items of work consist of the following: All Required Construction
Surveying by the Contractor; All Required Removal of Utilidor. 60,486
cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation; 66,877 tons of Borrow Type A;
4,626 square yards of Concrete Sidewalk four inch depth and 7,686 linear
feet of Curb and Gutter Type 1.
All work shall be completed by November 1, 1964

Public Notice
The City of Portland will submit a modification to its FY 1983 Comprehensive
Employment and Training Plan to the Employment and Training Administra
bon, U.S. Department of Labor, on May 16. 1983. The modification reflects
the addition of FY 1983 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) fund
ing and implementation plan, as authorized under the Job Training Partner­
ship Act. The purpose of SYEP is to provide employment, training and
related services to economically disadvantaged youth in the City of Portland
Funding is by formula and will total »1,610,897 The grant year is October 1
1982, through September 30, 1983.
This grant modification is available for review between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00
p.m. at the Training and Employment Division, located at 1120 S W Fifth
Avenue, 4th Floor, Portland, OR 97204 (796-5208).
Written comments are to be submitted to the above address in care of Mark
Brown, before June 15, 1983.
Notice of subsequent modifications to the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Plan will not be published. Interested groups, organizations or
individuals may notify the Training and Employment Division, at the above
address, of their desire to review any subsequent modification during the
grant year. The Training and Employment Division will maintain a list of
such notifications and will provide copies of any modifications.
