way, 3,930 feat of 50-foot wrde taxiway. and 3,000 feat of 12-
foot-wida perimeter road; lighting tha naw runway and taxi-
ways; relighting tha axiating runway and some of tha existing
taxiwaya; drainage pipe», ditches, pavement marking; seeding;
and sign and fence installation
A prebid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb­
ruary 15, 1983, in tha office-restaurant building at Portland-
Troutdale Airport to discuss all phases of tha work.
Bids must be on the bid form which will be provided to prospective bidders
and must ba accompanied by a certified or cashier's check drawn on a
United States bank or a bid bond payable to The Port of Portland in an
amount equal to at least 10 percent of the total amount bid.
Bidders are required to prequalify. Prequalification statements must be re­
ceived at least 10 days prior to the time set for bid opening. Applications for
proqualification may ba submitted less than 10 days before bid opening, but
consideration by Port cannot be assured.
The drawings and tha contract manual may be examined at Port offices.
Copies may ba obtained by prospective bidders upon deposit of »20, which
deposit will ba refunded upon return of the drawings, contract manual, and
other documents in good condition within 2 weeks after bid opening.
Landscape Improvements for approximately 7,600 lineal feet of
street right-of-way including plantings, irrigation, and mainten
ance.
Fabricate new deck, walls, ceiling and roof structure for Wash
mgton Crane No 8. Work also includes sandblasting and paint­
ing the complete machinery house.
