The Burnside Consortium will receive Bid* for:
Installation of air handler unit and naw prefiniahed ceiling in
shower wing at Correctional Facility.
The Butte Hotel Rehabilitation
unitl 3:00 p.m Pacific Standard Time (PST) on the 18th of Fetorurary. 1983,
at 222 N.W. Couch St., Portland, Oregon 97208, at which time and place all
Bide will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Contract Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, are on file at
the office of the Burnside Consortium, at 222 N .W . Couch St., Portland.
Oregon.
Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the Burnside Con­
sortium, by depositing a check for 126.00 for each set of documents so ob­
tained. Each such deposit will be refunded if the Drawings and Contract
Documents are returned in good condition within ten ( 101 days after the Bid
Opening.
A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Burnside Con­
sortium, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory
Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amoiunt
equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid, shall be submitted with each
bid.
Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that em­
ployees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against be­
cause of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin and that the Con­
tractor must comply with Foderal regulations pertaining to the employment
of apprentices and trainees as set forth in the Contract Documents.
The Bidder shall agree to provide opportunities for minority business and fe­
male business participation.
Bidder shall be certified as an EEO Affirmative Action Employer as pre­
scribed by Chapter 3.100 of the Code of the City of Portland.
The Burnside Consortium reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to
waive any informalities in the bidding.
Bids may not be withdrawn, without permission of the Burnside Consor­
tium, for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days for the purpose of reviewing
the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding
the contract.
