Christmas means getting
toys and gifts. But most of
all. it is the birthday of
someone special. Someone
who cares for us was born
that day. I f we get gifts and
toys we should thank who
bought them and thank that
person. Christmas should
be remembered as Jesus'
birthday. We should tell
Him Happy Birthday.
Terry Jackson
Christmas is the day that
Christ was born. The rea

Christmas is a time of year
To share the love of the
holiday.
To give thanks and spread
cheer
And to go to church and
pray.
Christmas is a time of year
To appreciate what you've
got.
So as Christmas draws near
Don't think about all that
you have not.
Christmas is the time of
year
To be happy, so on this
special day
Be sure to lend an ear
To try and make someone
else’s day more gay.

Snow
Christmas is almost here!
It’s snowing all over the
town.
It fills up all the streets.
Anthony Deloney
I like the snow because
it's cold and shivery. I like
how it doesn't hurt when
school kids have snowball
fights.
Dear Santa Claus.
I have been good and
sometimes a little bad, but
please forgive me! Please
bring me some more toys
this year. I ’ll leave you some
coffee on the table when
you go down the chimney,
Love,
Mehta Clardy
P.S.— Please! Leave some
thing in my stocking.

When Christmas comes
this year, I'm going to
jump, shout and cheer.
Since it only comes once a
year. When Christmas goes,
no more mistletoes. No
more trees in the window
that light up the night. No
more getting presents all
thru the day. No more stay
ing up late to play. So when
Christmas comes jump and
shout but for heaven’s sake
don't pout!

Dear Santa Claus,
You are a nice person.
Thank you for everything
you give everybody. One of
these days I'm going to
come and see you. I want to
be one of your elves. Is it
very cold up there? I bet it is
fun up at the North Pole. I
hope your wife is O K. up
in that cold weather. Next
Halloween I'm going to be
Santa Claus. Santa Claus,
this is what I want for
Christmas: I want a pro
football, a baseball, a
leather basketball. Have a
merry Christmas!

One day I woke up. I
didn't know it was Christ
mas Eve. I was so surprised,
I hit my toe on the table.
Ouch! I said. I better get my
clothes on. Wow, I said!
Time Hies. 1 went outside to
get my Porsche started. I ’ll
go to Lloyd Center to buy
some presents. I bought a
model Porsche for my
Mom, a watch for my Dad,
a chain for my Grand
mother, some catnip for my
cats, and that’s all. I went
to the hotel. It is Christmas
morning. We opened all our
presents. We were all happy
for God's gift to us that was
Jesus. Then we went home.
Joseph Buxton
I love Christmas because
we gave our teacher Mrs.
Vogel a present. I wish San
ta Claus came and woke me
up last night. I might dream
about it.
