Nissan has taken a new direction
in small car technology with the in
troduction of the 1983 Nissan Pul
sar N X —the efficiency and function
o f front-w heel-drive, but with a
sporty flavor.

new five-passenger Nissan Pulsar
N X was built to deliver them all."
The most striking feature o f the
Nissan Pulsar N X is its aerodynamic-
wedge-shaped styling, with a long
sloping hood, concealed pop-up
headlights and short rear deck with
built-in spoiler.
Two transmissions are available,
a five-speed manual overdrive and
an optional three-speed automatic
with lock-up torque converter for
increased efficiency.
The new car’s standard features
include rack-and-pinion power
steering, front disc brakes and a de
luxe trim with sunroof, 4-spcaker
A M /F M /M P X stereo radio and full
wheel covers.
