M ary S carbor­ ough. • The Portland Section o f the Na­ tional Council o f Jewish Women, in an independent study o f the M u lt­ nomah County Juvenile C o u rt, found that a “ disproportionately h ig h" percentage o f m inority c h il­ dren were committed to the Hillcrest MacLaren Schools during five months that court proceedings were analyzed. Mrs. Kavacik has been married 45 years and has 10 other children.
