Industrial Strength Bamm! premiers November 11 opening winter season
of Portland's satirical musical and comedy troupe B A M M ! (Brian Bressler,
Gary Adams, Michele Mariana and John Morrison).
B A M M ! continues their multi-media entertainment form at integrating
original live comedy and music with a six-foot video screen.
New, zany B A M M ! characters, vignettes, music and special video lam-
poonery highlight the third original show the group has produced. Previous
shows were “ The Other Channel” and “ An Evening o f Family Entertain
ment.”
The winter season's Industrial Strength Bamm! presents and array o f new
comic material: To The Point, featuring a m ore-than-liberal, yet tough-
talking T V host; The C hair, a musical comedy tribute to pie; four stuffy
foreign filmmakers attend Symposium Cinematic; A n Antelope Hom e fea
tures a maharajah and the philosophy o f M .E .; plus The Wedding, French
Waiter, Statues. And B A M M !, o f course, will continue with parodies o f
television programs and commercials projected from their “ big screen.”
Portland musician-guitarist Jon Bunce will be a special guest performer.
M r. Bunce is also writing scores for numerous B A M M ! songs.
Industrial Strength Bamm! performs Thursday-Sunday nights, Nov. 11-
Jan. 16 at B A M M ! Cabaret Theatre, 2235 N .W . Savier, Portland. Tickets
