and a great leadership capacity.
A native o f Sawyer, O klahom a,
Rev. Edwards began his ministry in
1949 in Santa Monica. California. It
was not until 1955 that he became a
methodist and was admitted to the
California Conference and ordained
as a Traveling Elder for that same
conference.
Dedication is apparently one o f
his many virtues, for he pastored 17
years in the C alifo rn ia Conference
and seven years in the Alaska-Paci
fic C o nferen ce, as pastor o f the
C urry Temple in Seattle, Washing
ton.
