When Bid Surety is required, proposals shall be accompanied by a certified
check, cashier's check or a bid bond, payable to the City of Portland for an
amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the bid
as guaranty that the bid shall be irrevocable for the period specified in the

The proposed work includes:
Demolition and removal of approximately 26 structures;
removal of fencing, pavement, and debris; and clearing
and seeding.
A prebid conference will be held Thursday, September 9,
1982, at 1:30 p.m. Meet at the intersection o f N .E . 33rd
Avenue and N.E. Elrod Road — adjacent to Parcel No. 031
— to discuss all phases of the work.
All proposals must be on the regular blank forms which will be provided to
prospective bidders and must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's
check drawn on an Oregon bank or bid bond payable to The Port of
Portland in an amount equal to at least 10 percent of the amount bid.
Bidders are required to prequalify. Prequalification statements must be
received at least 10 calendar days prior to the time set for bid opening.
Applications for prequalification may be submitted less than 10 calendar
days before bid opening, but consideration by the Port cannot be assured.
NON-DISCRIMINATION: No proposal or bid will be considered unless tf
