The Portland Observer takes great pride in
honoring individuals in the P o rtla n d area who
are outstanding in their fields.
This w ilt be an annual event and we w ill
bring a nationally know n speaker each year to
keynote the o f f air.
We hope the people o f P o rtla n d w ill take as
much p rid e in those who are being honored as
we do in hosting this fin e event.
This year's speaker is Ron Dellums,
Congressman o f C alifornia. The event w ill be
held on Ju ly 16th, 1982, at 7:00p.m . at the
P ortland H ilto n . A no-host cocktail h ou r w ill
be hied a t 6:00 p.m . The price o f dinner w ill
