Achievement Awards
The Portland Observer takes great pride in
honoring individuals in the Portland area who
are outstanding in their fields.
This w ill be an annual event and we will
bring a nationally known speaker each year to
keynote the affair.
We hope the people o f Portland will take as
much pride in those who are being honored os
we do in hosting this fin e event.
This y e a r’s speaker is Ron Dellums.
Congressman o f California. The event w ill be
held on July 16th, 1982, at the Portland
H ilto n . The price o f admission w ill be $20.00.
