Public Notice
The City of Portland submitted a modification to its FY 1982 Comprehen­
sive Employment and Training Plan to the Employment and Training A d­
ministration, U .S. Department of Labor, on May 3, 1982. The modifica­
tion reflects the addition of FY 1982 Summer Youth Employment Pro­
gram (SYEP) funding and im plem entation plan, as authorized under
Com prehensive Em ploym ent and Training A c t (C E T A ) T itle IV . The
purpose of SYEP is to provide employment, training and related services
to economically disadvantaged youth in the City of Portland. Funding is
by formula and will total 41,184,152. The grant year is October 1, 1982
through September 30, 1982.
This grant modification is available for review between 8:00 A M and 5:00
PM at the Training and Employment Division of the Human Resources
Bureau, located at 522 S .W . Fifth A venue, 8th Floor. Portland, OR
97204(248-4710).
