“ D o it h eartily,” the verse said,
and the Blazers did. The Blazers, in
cluding coaches and trainers, are all
stars and they brought along their
wives and fam ilies to help them
model the fashion garments in the
starshine. They sauntered, strolled
and trod the boards like true profes
sionals.
Clothes came from Frederick and
Nelson, Nudelmans, N ike, Edward
Hamilton Furs, Jantzen and Helen’s
Pacific Costumes. Fashion coordin
ator for the show was M ary Posey.
Cosmetics and make up were by
A ida G rey o f Lake Oswego. H a ir
styles were by Jon and Company.
The presentation opened w ith a
dramatic tableau o f fashions o f the
historic past, went rapidly to career
clothes o f the present, garments for
the active life, on to after-five dress
ing and wound up with formal wear
and furs.
A few o f the nearly fifty persons
who modeled were: Lloyd Neal and
his wife, Marcia, who only that day
received n o tific atio n that she has
passed the bar examinations and can
now officially use as her title A tto r
