Hatten joins
Kaiser staff
by Tom Boothe
In order to make the best decisions you must consider the following four Eie
ments as baseline foundations.
The Kaiser-Permanente Medical
Care Program has appointed Glen-
dia H a tto n , a registered nurse and
fam ily nurse practitioner, to the po
sition o f medical office adm inistra
tor for its Salem facility.
For the past seven years, Ms. H at
ton has been administrator fo r nurs
ing and support services fo r the
Orange-Chatham Com prehensive
Health Center in Carrboro, North Ca
rolina, which served approximately
16,000 people in each o f three loca
tions in and around Chapel H ill. Pre
viously, she was director o f nursing
fo r M odel Neighborhood Total
Health Center, Detroit, a member o f
the Veterans Administration certifica
tion team in Southern California and
a public health nurse for the Dept. o f
H um an Resources, W ashington,
DC.
Ms. H atton has been active as a
speaker in the Chapel HIU school sys
tem, a member o f the public school
health committee, and is a member o f
the board of directors for the Chapelo
H ill home health agency. In 1979, she
was appointed by Governor Hunt o f
North Carolina to the state commis
sion for Health Maintenance Organiz
ations.

Clear decision making is a major part o f mental-fitness. Knowing and under
