check, cashier's check or a bid bond, payable to the City of Portland for an
amount not lees than ten percent (10% ) of the aggregate amount of the bid
as guaranty that the bid shall be irrevocable for the period specified in the
proposal. Said bond to be forfeited as fixed and liquidated damages should
the bidder seek to revoke his offer for any reason not authorized by law and
not consented to by City within the irrevocable period, or neglect or refuse
to enter into contract and provide a suitable bond for the faithful perform
ance of the contract, in the event the said contract is awarded to him.

trict of Oregon (Tri-M et) will receive sealed bid proposals until 2:00 p.m .
PST on March 31, 1982 at 4012 S.E. 17th Avenue in the Planning and De
velopment Division, Third Floor, Conference Room " D ," Portland, Oregon
97202, Attention* Liz Goebel, Contract Specialist. Bids will be opened at
that time for:
Construction of piping and reels for service of articulated buses,
Center Street Facility.

The City of Portland submitted a modification to its FY 1982 Comprehen
sive Employment and Training Plan to the Employment and Training A d
ministration, U .S . Department of Labor, on March 1,1982. The modifica
tion reflects revised funding levels and programmatic changes for programs
authorizsd under Comprehensive Employment and Training A ct (CETA)
Titles II, IV, and VII. The purpoee of CETA is to provide employment, train
ing and related services to u r employed, underemployed and economically
disadvantaged residents of the City of Portland. Funding is by formula and
will total $4,086,866. The grant year is October 1, 1961 through September
30, 1962.
This grant notification is available for review between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
at the Training and Employment Division of the Human Resources Bureau,
located at 522 S W Fifth Avenue, 8th Floor, Portland, Oregon 97204, tele
phone 248-4710.
Written comments are to be submitted to the above address in care of Lisa
Nisenfeid, Program Planning Director, within 30 days of this publication.
Notice of subsequent modifications to the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Plan will not be published. Interested groups, organizations or indi
