All-time
Blazers
by Ron Sykes
The Trailblazer Oldtimers team
made its debut last weekend in the
Dalles before a crowd of some two
thousand plus. There were reminis
cences and flash-backs o f things
that once were but will never again
be. Seeing ex-players like G eo ff
Petrie, Greg Smith, LaRue Martin,
Shaler H alim on, prompted us to
think o f an all-tim e Blazer team.
The guards would be Lionel Hollins
and Petrie, and the big redhead Bill
Walton in the middle. Picking the
forwards would be tough, but the
choice here is Lloyd Neal and super
Sidney Wicks.
