The Empty Christmas
Stocking
I
Once upon a time there
was a little boy named Jack.
On the third day before
Christmas— Jak had a job
to do. He had to make
twenty-five Christmas
stockings in two days. To
Jack that seemed
impossible but he
remembered an old saying
“ When the going gets tough
the tough get going." So,
he started in a hurry. Before
he got sleepy, he made
fifteen stockings The next
morning he had done the
rest. So it goes to show you,
when you really put your
mind to it you can do
anything.
