NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Tri-
County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (Tri-Met) at the
Water Service Building Auditorium, 1800 S.W. Sixth Avenue, Portland,
Oregon, at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 10, 1980, for the purpose of
considering project• for which financial assistance is being sought from the
Urban Mass Transportation Administration, pursuant to the Urban Mau
Transportation Act of 1964, as amended, generally described as follows:
Copies may be obtained on or after October 3, 1980, at Parametrix, Inc.,
upon deposit of $25.00 for each aet. Any successful bidder, upon returning
such set promptly and in good condition, will be refunded his/her payment,
end any nonbidder upon 10 returning such a set will be refunded his/her
payment. Refund■ will be made only if plans and specifications are returned
in good condition within ten 1101 days after the bid opening.
Tri-Met intends to apply for a grant from the Interstate Transfer Fund• (Title
23 U.S.C. 103 tel 141. Thia project is included in Tri-Mat's program of
projects for fiscal year 1980-81 and is a part of the Metropolitan Service
District (Metro) tran1portation improvement program.
No bid will be received or considered unless the bid contains a statement
that the provisions regarding prevailing rates of wage required by ORS
279.350 end the Devis-Bacon Act, es may be applicable, shall be complied
with.
The project includes design and construction of the following four transit
centers: Clackamas Town Center, Tigard, Oregon City, and Milwaukie;
preliminary engineering of transit improvements in the Mcloughlin Blvd.,
corridor between Oregon City and Milwaukie; and acquisition of eight 181
articulated buaea.
All bidders must be willing to comply with the applicable provisions of the
Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972 and the Civil Rights Act of
1964, as emended.
No bid will be considered unl111 fully complete in the manner provided in
"Instructions to Bidders" upon the bid form provided, accompanied by a
big bond, cashier's check or certified check executed in favor to the City of
Oakridge in an amount not 1188 than ten ( 101 percent of the total amount of
the bid as bid aecurity.

ticipation will be approximately $3,848,800 and the local share will be ap-
proximately $679,200.
