40th w edding a n n ive rsa ry at th e ir
hom e at 3926 N . V a n c o u v e r
Avenue.
Present were 350 guests, including
M rs. Corlee W illia m s, sister o f M rs.
Bonner and P rin c ip a l o f a J u n io r
H igh School in Denver, C olorado.
From 3 -6 p .m ., there was an open
house and guests were treated to yet
another " u n iq u e e ve n t.” the taking
o f repeated vows by M r. and M rs.

ship, p o litic a l c o n fu s io n , and the
fast creeping, social decline o f the
Am erican fa m ily structure, i t ’ s en­
lightening, refreshing, and an honor
to know that among us here in P o rt­
land, is a Black man and wom an,
w h o ’ vc survived the tim es, healed
m any p e rsonal w ounds and have
loved every bit o f it! They are Black

Joe's stores to have th e ir bicycles
m a rk e d and re g is te re d . C rim e
prevention s ta ff and volunteers w ill
also be p ro vid in g free bicycle safety
inspections.
