MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS
A CHRISTMAS POEM
\1> favorite Christmas was when I was tour sears old.
We had a loi ol s tu ff under our Christinas tree. We
eouldn t wait an> longer so we got to open one o f our
presents. It was a nightgown, but it was too big for me, so
I eouldn l wear it. On t hristinas, it was snowing. I got out
ins 'led and I went outside and slide down a steep hill.
I he Christinas tree stand
all pretty and bright.
With a bright star on top.
A ll different kinds o f
decorations all over the
Christinas tree. Everyone goes to
sleep at night waiting
for Santa Claus to come.

Kwanza is a holiday with seven principles. Each prin
ciple stands lo r something. Each day people get together
and have fun.
Kwanza is when children do plays, dance and sing. If
you celebrate Kwanza, you’ ll see a lot o f people talking
about Kwanza. Kwanza was started in A frika. It started
before the europeans came. I love Kwanza. I won’t let it
get away from me.
