Theodore “ Ted" W . Burger died
August 8, 1978 at the University of
Oregon Health Sciences Center of
pulm onary edema. He was fifty
years of age.
Burger was bom in Salt Lake City
on December 22, 1927, and came to
Oregon at the age o f five. He
graduated from the University of
Oregon and received a Masters in
Educational Counseling at the
