cuisine, however, there are some very delightful and en­
joyable restaurants to visit. A ll o f these establishments
are w ith in walking distance or a ten minute bus ride

The prices range fro m very expensive to moderate
w ith a few inexpensive places listed a fte r m y ten
favorites. The list o f restaurants is by no means com­
plete, but it is extensive enough to allow fo r good selec­

The restaurants are rated on service and food — fo ur
stars excellent, three stars above average, tw o stars
average, one star below average, no star simply means
no comment is necessary or that the service or food was

and should be visited i f at all possible. The others are
for change o f pace or fo r those experimenting moods
that overcome us all.

was intended between them.

Jazz de Opus is a tavern. N ow , that seems inap­
propriate being listed w ith restaurants o f such high
callings but de Opus holds its own as a cool oasis in a
dying desert.
