One of Oregon's most noted scenic attractions is the Columbia
River Gorge, down which the explorers and pioneers travelled to find
the lush Willamette Valley.
On the left, is Vista House on Crown Point, a popular viewpoint. At
the left is Rooster Rock State Park, with excellent boating and swim
ming facilities. The gorge is transversed by the freeway, 80-N, and by
the Scenic Highway, which winds along the bluffs.
