Kerby Avenue, died on March 5th at the Veteran's Hospital at the age of 61. Butler was born in Ethel, Arkansas and has been a resident of Portland for 31 years. Surviving relatives are: his wife. Annie Kay Butler; his step-mother, Dorothv Bell Butler; five brothers: Adell. James. Wilbert, Glen and John; seven sisters: Del Smith, Bertha Poston, Mary Brooks, Alvina Parker, Ola Streets, Irma Ed­ wards, and Dorothy Bannerman, and 57 nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be contributions to the University of Oregon Health Science Center Sickle Cell Anemia Research Project, under D r. Koler, or their favorite charity.
