former pastor of Mount Olivet Baptist
Church, died recently in Pontiac, Michi­

Minor was born October 24th, 1916 in
Exelsia Springs, Missouri. He married
Mrs. Ida Mae Green of Portland on June
19th, 1944 and the couple had four sons:
Lenworth Jr.. Wilford. Major, and Den­
nis. He entered the ministry in 1945.
Minor attended Phoenix Junior College
in Phoenix; Tuskegee Institute, and
Great Lakes College in Detroit.
He pastored the Macedonia Baptist
Church in Pontiac for 21 years and then
founded and pastored the St. Matthew
