It's time again for the third annual
A lam ed a N eig h b o rh o o d P ic n ic at
Wilshire Park, Sunday, June 27th, Noon.
Bring a main dish or salad for the noon
meal then stick around for games, ice
cream, and lots of talk! Beverages for
picnickers of all ages will be provided.
Those who would like to take an active
part are invited to join the group on July
8th. 4008 N.E. 28th, 7:30 p.m.
The Alameda Community Association
was organized over two years ago to
encourage community spirit and assist
with neighborhood problems. Although
the group holds only three or four general
meetings during the year, its steering
commitee meets on a regular monthly
basis to conduct business and deal with
neighborhood concerns.
The Oklahoma Ambassadors will be
hosting their 12th Annual Cotton Ball.
July 3rd, 1976 at the Town Hall 3428
N. Montana. Music will be furnished by
M. & M. Donation is $2.50 per person.
The time is from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00
a.m. and the public is invited.
Money raised will support the O.A.C.'a
numerous charities.
Tickets may be purchased at the door,
or from Club members.
The National Council of N egro Wo­
men, Incorporated Portland Section pre­
sents a Bicentennial Sew and Show of
Fashions Taste and Tell. Sunday. June
27. 1976 at 6:00 p.m. at Holy Redeemer

Open to the public, the sale will be held
on the hospital tennis courts, located at
the intersection of North Commercial and
North Kerby Streets.
Proceeds from the sale will assist the
auxiliary in fulfilling its $250.000 pledge
to OPERATION UPDATE, the Hospi­
tal's building and remodeling program.
