Engine House Pizza serves hungry fam ilies a t Jantzen Beach
The Engine House Pizza

Island near Jantzen Reach

With its architecture and
interior decor resembling
an 1890's firehouse, the
I restaurant offers

tempting spaghetti and piz
za. Customers can also
enjoy a good selection of
salads from the self service
bar. Also available are soft
drinks, beer and wines by
the glass.
The emphasis at Engine
House Pizza is on family
eating. A hungry family of
four ran be satisfied for less
than ten dollars.

looking at Peter Pumper, a
restored 1918 fire truck on
display near the dining
area. In service from 1918
to 1965, Peter Pumper can
boast of a history of service
in two Georgia commun

the excitement of a fire
house at the entrance way,
where they are greeted
with a display of hanging
hoses, antique fire marks
and tapes of actual fire calls
made in a California com
