Camp Fire registration for
the 1974-75 school year is
now underway in the Albina
area schools. For the first
time in the Multnomah
Washington County areas.
Camp Fire Blue Bird in
terest surveys have been
distributed to first graders.
Camp Fire recognises that
the youth of today are de
veloping faster than those of
just a decade ago. The Blue
Bird experiences of service
p ro jects, u sin g lan gu age,
nature and outdoors, crea
t i n g and the home and
family, are geared to the
young girl - in the first
through third grades.
Through the month of
September, Camp Fire - Blue
Bird .interest surveys are
being distributed to girls in
most of the Albina area
schools. Parents should com
plete the surveys and return
them to school if their
daughter wants to join.
Those parents whose daugh
ters did not receive an in
terest survey but want to
join the Camp Fire Girls
should call the Portland Area
Camp Fire office at 224 7800.
Camp Fire is for all girls,
first through 12th grade.
Camp Fire is a member
agen cy of U n ited Good
Neighbors.
Nearly ten
thousand girls and three
thousand adults are now part
of the Portland Area Council
of Camp Fire Girls.
