The Public Service Employment Program (Title II) will be
operated by the City of Portlands Bureau of Personnel
through a subcontract with the Manpower Planning and
Administration Division of the Bureau of Human
Resources. There will be a total of 53 positions available
dunng the fiscal year 1975 (July 1. 1974 through June 30.
The anticipated costs of the program will be as follows-

Programs funded by previous manpower legislation will
complete servicing under contracts now in effect;
therelore, most l ETA activities, under Title I of the Act.

Approximately 1.280 economically disadvantaged persons
will be served during this time period. An estimated 507
persons will complete the program by June 30. 1975. Of
those completing, 365 participants will be placed in unsub
sidized.
