This should indeed be one of the most outstanding pro grams of religious music ever to come to Oregon, with full choir and orchestra. Highlights of the program will be “ Prayer for Peace" I Dona Nobis Pacem) by Vaughan Williams, with text by W all Whitman. In adiii lion, there w ill be several pieces by Anton Bruckner, “ Ava Maria", "O fferlorium ". "A ntiphon" and "Gradual«-". The Concert w ill be held Saturday, May 4th. at 8:30 p.m. in the Civic Auditorium. Tickets w ill be $3.00 for adults and $1.50 for students and older adults. Tickets may la- purchased from Stevens and Sons, I.ipman's, Civic Auditorium and Ecu menical Ministries Office. Directing the Concert w ill be l)r. David Wilson, who has just arrived as Director of Music this fall at Portland State University. A ll proceed* from this Concert w ill go to further the w ork of Ecum enical Ministries in the life of church and community. Any increases in Dregon hospital rates after Cost of Living Council controls are removed w ill 1 m - accompanied by public justification ul the higher costs. Governor Tom McCall announced. T h a t policy has been adopted by the Health Facili ties Cost Review Comm« sion. McCall said the Dregon Association of Hospitals has concurred with the com mission re q u ire m e n ts for filing of present and future rates and explanation of rate increases. Beginning September 1st. McCall said, the Health Facilities Cost Review Com mission also will make public its views on whether rate increases ini|<osed after that date are reasonable. The comnussion, created by th«- 1973 Legislature, has no authority to control rates but was charged with th«- re sponsibility of reviewing "th« reasonableness of rates . . . established by any health care facility."
