Company. Denver. The NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race) event was held at Aspen
Highlands, one of four separate resorts in the Aspen complex. Schlitz sponsored the race and a
later awards dinner at the Aspen Holiday Inn. Among the 11 prominent Black ski clubs taking
part were Four Seasons West of Los Angeles and the Colorado Slippers and Sliders of Denver.
