life-style out of their country.
Their land and life-style will
be shown on March 20th
when John Roberts in person,
presents the Global Adven

Modern Vikings", at 8:00 in
the Auditorium.
Portland Community College
and the Portland Park Bu

Portland. Last year over 30
plots were developed in the
gardening program by people
in the community.
Anyone
interested in free l a n d ,

at PCC.
“Our Valley - M y Land" will
be shown on K A T U
on
March 24th at 7:30 p.m. The
30 miniute special examines
the philosophy of private
property ownership as it
applies to the W illam ette
Valley of Oregon and the
Santa Clara Valley of Cali
fornia.
Both valleys began
with an agrarian base. Now
industry, freeways and urban
sprawl have choked agricul
ture and open space out of
the Santa Clara Valley. The
W illam ette is already past
the genesis of a similar fate.
