play, making the most out of

perience. To accomplish thia
excellence. Coach John Hicks
has worked long and hard and
has, among hla better players,
Greg Amerson at halfback.
Amerson, the "veteran " of
the squad, la In his fourth
year of varsity play. Unof

Amerson is often
called the team leader and
this season he was one of
the league's prem iere ball
handlers.
Among
Amerson's eight
goals thia season are a pair
of game-winners, proving that
even
though Coach Hicks
moved him from center fo r
ward to halfback, he has not
lost his scoring touch.
It has been a very success
ful four years for Amerson
who graduates from OES this
June.

strong inspiration has prodded
many of tte team members
to go on, even though the odds
have sometimes been stacked
against the Falcons.
He Is one of the hardest
workers on the team. The
moat stunning fact, however,
is that Amerson feels more
at home on the basketball
courts, where he is one of
Class A ’a finest players.
Greg Amerson son of M r . and M rs . Herb Amerson, has
completed his last season as a football star at Oregon
Episcopal School. Amerson w ill also play basketball for the
Falcons this season.
