a "re a l stage. In the i« st.
PCC drama students have had
to rely upon their creativity
and imagination to transform
, a lecture hall into a theatre,
but new fa cilitie s w ill mean a
r e g u la r
stage, theatrical
lighting with a dim m er board,
dressing and make-up rooms.
There are three segments to
the l>CC drama program
which is aimed at preparing
the college transfer student
to r Ins umor and senior year
at a four-year institution, arxl
providing a creative outlet fo r
the two-year student who is
interested in drama.

Jeff Beck burst onto the
international rock scene in
1967 as lead g uitarist fo r the
Yardbirds at a time when the
technical expertise of many
virtuoso rock guitarists was
the subject of constant com
parison. U ltim ately th r e e
stood out from the crowd,
E ric Clapton, J im i Hendrix
and Jeff Beck.
A fte r his stint with the
Yardbirds, Beck formed the
original Jeff Beck Group and
brought to prominence singer
Rod Stewart and bass player
Ron Wood. Beck's a bility to
find dynamic talent to incor
porate into his group has lee
subsequently demonstrated on
several occasions. The cur
rent group features pianist
Max Mxldleton, Clive Chamon
on bass, singer Bob Tench and
drum mer Cozy Powell and has
proved to be a powerful musi
