I'm here to let you know that we-teens of the now generation are up tight and out of sight. 1 he question fo r today is "W hat's going on?" The answer Is "L -O -V -B ". Today many people are get ting pretty mixed up about the expression love. Love is a fun ny thing. You can't see it, you can’ t hear it, and you can’ t touch it, but those who treasure it, possess it, and those who don’ t often spend their lives searching fo r it. Love has different meanings. To some people it's just an ex pression. To you it may be glad ness o r sadness, to someone else it may occur to them as being hate or violence, and to others it may even 1» the color of your skin, money or gold. From the way I see love, it can be anything. Now, I would I ike for all of you guys and gals in newspaper laixl to read this original poem on L -O -V -E I W rite me back expressing your opinions, ami ideals about it. Hey gang while you’ re at it, why not send in news about your communities, clubs, activities, teen love stories, and original poems. I've never been in love but I know what it is I've only experienced feeling And I've heard about the fiz. The revam ping of 1771 kitchen room into today's style at living. It's a colorful and contemporary striped flo ra l pattern that helps provide a cherry, sunshine atmosphere the year round. F o r a feeling of coordination, a matching fabric was selected for the cafe curtains on the door and some of the windows. Y o u 'll notice that the cafe curtains have been hung on the door in such a way as to give some privacy, as well as to allow the sun to shine in during the day. Since the room has a low 8 - foot ceiling, the "D a is y - S trip e " pattern was chosen in particular because, firs t, the striped effect gives the feeling of more height and, secondly, the open scale of the design is light and a iry . Also contri buting to the feeling of space in the room are such things as the white grass cloth used on the ceiling and the lightly checked beige kitchen car peting. Rooms built in the 18th and 19th centuries often had wooden cupboards built into the w alls. Although they are awkardly placed, the designer decided to leave them intact. APPEARANCE The Brad ford clinic Love is being fooled by a guy whose no good love is a common man Q. We have just bought a new house and 1 am decorating the living room in a formal style, since 1 have quite a number of good antique pieces. 1 would like to add architec tural details to the walls, as the room is very large and has a high ceiling. Do you think this idea is too old- fashioned and how should 1 go about it, if it is suitable? A. No 1 don’ t think the idea is old-fashioned, and, as a matter of fact, this type of wall decoration is becoming popular again. I also think it is a good way of diminishing barn like overtones in a huge room. A rchitectural moldingsonwalls in a form al room are ideal; they have been a prim ary con sideration in the total decora tive scheme from the very beginnings of form al in te rio rs. French wall treatments, for example, incorporated panels with graceful shell m otifs, while English and Colonial de- decorations featured rectangu la r shapes used on doors and mantels as w e lla sw a lls.
