Grandberry,
who has b e e n
d ire cto r at Unthank Park fo r two
and one-half years. He attend
ed C lark College in Vancouver,
Washington and has been work
ing with the youth of Albina for a
number of years.
Ron is looking to the parents
and adults to become more in
volved to help make a better
park and k n o w what is hap
pening— what is going on in their
park.

musical numbers they presented

orator type of speaker, inspiring
people to action, and her humor
broueht down the house several
tim es. She concluded with se
veral stories ,one ot them about
the
woman who told a black
woman “ Now I think 1 understand
what you want - you want a Diece
of the pie.” The black woman
answered, “ Last year we would
have been satisfied with a Diece
of the pie - but this year we want
the recipe.”
