ing in a district where scabies has not
existed for a period of 1 months next

Sheen coming from an infected dis
trict must be certified by an inspector

given that subject to the conditions
and limitations of the act of June 9,
1916 (39 Stat 218), and the Instruct
tions of the secretary of the interior
of September 15, 1917 (46 L. D. 447),
the timber on the following lands will
be sold at 10 o'clock A. M., on De
cember 19, 1922, at public auction at
the United States land office at Port
land, Or., to the highest bidder at not

the Warm Springs Judian reservation,
Oregon, described as follows: Begin
ning at the intersection of the souta
nui of Shitike canyon with the range
tine between ranges 11 and 12 east,
Willamette meridian. and running
south on said range line to the north
bank of i he lloiolius river, thenc
lollowing up the north bank of ths
Metoliua river and Jefferson creek to
its intersect inn, with the line between
ranges 8 and & east, thence to the
northwest corner of township 11 south,
rango 9 east, thence east to the cor
ner between sections 31 and 32, town
ship 10 south, range 9 east, thence
north on east line of the west tier of
sections through townships 9 and 10

a total stand of approximately 482,000,

cedar and other species. About 18,000
acres ot this area, with a stand of
approximately 43,000,000 feet of yellow
and sugar pine and 540,000 feet of
other species is allotted land, for which

made with a.' lot tees; within the area
there are 477 acres of fee-patented
land with an estimated stand of 5,000,
000 feet, which can probably be pur
chased from the owners. Each bid
must state the price per thousand feet,
