school district special tax election
hereby called to be held at the various
polling places in and for school district
No. 1, Multnomah county, Oregon, on
Saturday, the 17th day of June, A. D
1922, between the hours of noon and 5
o'clock P. M. of said day there will be
submitted to the legal voters thereof
the question of increasing the amount
of taxes to be levied upon the assess
ment roll for 1922 in the sum of $1,000,
000 over and above the amount which
the board may levy subject to existing
laws and subject to the supervision of
the tax sutervisinsr and conservation
commission for the purpose of main
tenance, support and operation of said
school district and necessary repairs of
buildings during the calendar year of
1923, the vote to be by ballot, upon
which shall be the words, "Special levy
Yes" and "Special levy No," and
the voter shall place a cross (X) be

the word "Yes." or between the words
"Special Levy and the word "No,"
