City Treasurer Nomination.
ABERDEEN, Wash.. Nov. 7. (Spe
cial.) The flnl count in the city
primaries Saturday showed Floyd
VamrBen, running on an ex-service
man's platform, defeated T. . H. Hill
for city treasurer by a vote of 1324
to 708. or nearly two to one. The
race was expected to be close. Hill
having won over opposition in the
past several elections.
V. G. Skinner, ex-councilman, de
feated G. F. Wellman. incumbent, as
first ward representative and 1 B.
Draper defeated Oscar Hermans, In
cumbent, in the four-cornered con
test in the sixth ward. Other council
men were renominated.
