REUNION DENIED DR. SUX YAT DECLARES PEKIX AXAOCXCEMEXT FALSE. View of Situation Is That Pekin Government Has Hope of Conciliation. PEKIN, Nov. 1. (By the Associat ed Press.) The Pekin government has issued a proclamation declaring that there has been a reunion of north and south China and calling for the election of a new parliament on the basis of the old election regu lations. The proclamation cites an announcement by General Tsen Chun Hsuan, the chief of the southern military government of the dissolu tion of that government and the re nunciation by the provinces of Kwang Tung and Kwang Hsi of their declarations of independence. Uhls fekm proclamation has elicit ed a manifesto from the constitu tionalist leader. Dr. Sun Yat Sen and Tang Shao Yi, at Shanghai, declar ing the constitutionalist government as still in existence and that they did not recognize the Pekin procla mation as having any force. The alleged unity, it declared, was based upon a peace agreement made by "irresponsible persons," and the manifesto charges that the proclama tion constitutes an attempt to deceive foreigners for ulterior purposes and give life to an illegal government. -The view of the situation here is that the Pekin government has hope of conciliating the southern factions. i 11 More versatile and more satisfying than any electric piano at or near its price is this little wonder.
