ANGLERS WILL VIE TONIGHT Tournament of Three Events to Be Held at Sellwood Park. A tournament of three events will be held at the Sellwood park casting pool, by the Multnomah Anglers? club to night The fly and bait casters have ben turning out in force at the regular Wednesday night tournaments getting in shape for the northwest champion ships which will be staged in Portland August 9 and 10. Efforts are being made to get tile Los Angeles Casters' club to enter a team to" compete in the northwest meet. The winner of the all-around north west title will be rewarded with a trip to Chicago to attend the national fly and bait casting championships the latter part of August. The Seattle Casting club is holding special tournaments every Sunday in their Woodland Park pool at the south end of Green Lake. The club is offer ing medals to the winners in the events, a featune which is bringing out many casters. Leo Cross will leave for La Grande tonight. Neal Zimmerman, Carl Mar tin and Frank Kendall, also booked to appear in thr.t city July 4, will leave here Wednesday night.
