From the Ash-street Dock on the West
Side, extending- in a northeasterly direc
tion. to near the foot of East Ankeny
street on the East Side, and from the Ash
street Dock on the West Side. In an east
erly direction to the foot of East Ash
street on the East Side of said Willamette
River, marked by a monument on the
Aeh-street Dock, the length of said cables
neing approximately 1400 feet and lou
feet in length, respectively, and from the
Oak-street Dock on the West Side, ex
tending in a northeasterly direction to the
foot of East Ash street on the East Side
