A great day for the men of the Students' Army Train ing Corp3 was yesterday. They were so happy they could scarcely contain their joy. For to be paid and to have a new uniform, or even part of one, all in one day is considered almost too good to be true. Men of both companies lined up to receive the first money the Government has given them since they' enrolled in the S. A. T. C. They were paid J16.50 for the time from October 14 to 31. The date of formal induction for nearly all the men was October 14, but practically all of them were at the university Octo ber 1 and started their Induction at that time. Crisler indicated today that if conditions continued to improve as was expected, this move would be made some time early next week.
