Robert K. Slruliorn Says Changes
Brought About by War Serious.
KLAMATH FALLS. Or.. Feb. 28.
(Special.) Ilobert K. Strahorn and his
wife returned to Klamath Falls Mon
day for a visit of a few weeks on their
way to California.
Mr. Strahoim was rathe, pessimistic
concerning the outlook for his new
railroad, which is now buildini here,
due to the war conditions and the ex
ceedingly high prices for all materials
which now prevail, etc. He said: "As
for our railroad project, everything
has been changed by the war since 1
agreed to this construction, but in
view of the great importance of the
larger project I have felt that a su
preme effort must be made to get this
first unit into operation."
