Delegates to the 27th annual state Christian Endeavor convention, which opens here tomorrow, commenced ar riving today. Among them was Miss Edna Whipple, of Eugene, state presi dent of the organization, who will pre side at the sessions of the conven tion. Miss Whipple said that she had received cards from more than 100 of the delegates, saying that they would attend and that she expected that the total number would be 150. The delegates are being cared for in the homes of Baker citizens. This work was inaugurated a few weeks ago, but was discontmud several days ago awaiting the arrival of new instructions.
