Branch National Breeders' and Fanciers' Association will' be held in our

Dr. John G. Abele. Assistant City
Health Officer, yesterday received no
tice that h. has been commissioned a
Captain ln the .medical section of the
Officers' Hesert'e Corps. He says he
haa written his acceptance of th. com
mission and expects to be called into
active service soon.
Dr. Abele is 48 years of age and is
an Indian War veteran. He says that
as far as he knows he is the youngest
veteran of the Indian wars still living.
