recognition by the wheels of the train.

and have been removed ta a hospital at
Mooae Lake, where It Is said they will
recover.
Carl Mueller, driver of the bos. was
but slightly hurt.
The lore, of the Impact derailed the
two rear cars of the train, but none of
the passengers was Injured. Passen

Within a short time a special train
from Carlton and ona from Willow
River bad arrived with physicians and
nurses, who dresaed tha Injuries and
hurried tha children to a hoapltaL
Tha bua was a boxlike affair, with

bo cb-xnea to know that tha train was
approaching.

urging more men to appear before the
civil service examination for police
men next week.
To accommodate men who may not be
able to get their applications in on
time the time limit for filing has been
extended from 5 P. M. Monday until 6
P. M. Wednesday.
