TACKSON and Josephine Counties, in which is the fertile Rogue RiveT
Valley, comprise the greater part of the Southern Oregon district. Douglas
is also a part of the district. It is also a part of the' Coast County Group. This dis
trict produces various kinds of fruit, livestock, wool, grain, lumber, sugar and min
erals. During the past year mineral production has shown a substantial increase.
