Mrs. Ceane Plant, a pioneer Oregon and Washington settler, who lived about 20 miles southeast of Chehalis, died Thursday. She was born in Germany, coming- to this coun try when a girl, and settled in Ore gon when she was 19. In 1S74 she married and moved to Silver Creek, Wash. She Is survived by one daugh ter, Mrs. R. A. Cross, of Gladstone, Or., and four sons, Charles, Salem, Jr., Clark and Melvln, of Silver Creek. Funeral services were held today at the church at SalRum, Rev. Mr. Olson of f iciatinfr.
