Rules of Competition
All efforts must be executed In water colors. The name, aire, address and school
attended, must be riven by contestants In space provided for same. AU school chil
dren of Portland and vicinity are eligible, except members of families of Oreconian
employes. All advertisements In the croup must be colored. City contestants must
have efforts In The Oregonian office by Monday noon, one week after date of publi
cation. Out-of-town efforts will be accepted until 9 A. M- Tuesday.
If In the opinion of the Judges any of the wlnnln efforts are of equal merit
the prizes will be divided equally. Prise winners will be announced Monday of each
week, when successful contestants may cail at The Oregonian office for their prises.
The winner of the first prize any one week will not be permitted, to compete
during subsequent weeks.
All efforts are to remain the property of The Oregonian. Packages containing
the goods advertised can be had at any dealers. Should any difficulty be experienced
in securing them, telephone the advertiser.
